BUG : Enabling Front Panel in Desktops PCs

After buying my new Desktop PC and discovering that its front panel isn’t working, i was a bit affraid. :(
Then after searching the problem on the internet i realised that i was wrong and found the way out. Actually it was disabled. ;)
Enabling it in Windows 7 seemed not to be that much easier to me as well because it was new for me. Some said it is disabled from BIOS others said it can be done from control panel, i think both were true but in my case the later one. :)
You might be thinking about the word ‘BUG’ used in the header... you will know why did i write this at the end of this article.

Following are the steps to Enable front panel (Realtek HD Audio):
1) Open ‘Control Panel’ from ‘Start menu’ (or click on realtek icon in system tray)
for xp (similar to Window xp)

      2) Open Realtek HD Audio (Start\Control Panel\Realtek HD Audio)

Realtek HD Audio in Window xp

Realtek HD Audio in Window 7

It took me more than 30mins to know that checking this statement basically ‘enables’ the front panel, hats of to Realtek HD Audio. :P
If you want to play front and rear panel output devices simultaneously following screenshot illustrates its. Once again you can see the bug that a statement is wrong.
